We are a Junior High School in Bordeaux (Collège Saint André), and are looking for a high school in the USA that would like to set up a regularly scheduled exchange with students aged 14 or 15.
We would definitely like to have at least 2 American colleagues come over each time with their students, and by doing a direct exchange, we could certainly do this for a reasonable amount of money. Students would have an exchange partner they stay with and get to know, and they would stay at each other’s place. The French teachers here would host the American teachers as well.
We could start with virtual exchanges between classes… on any topic really, depending on the themes we are studying, going from Migration, Civil Rights, Food, Literature, Drama, or any other…
We could also imagine sports events or choir events as well since we have a pole-vault section and also a fantastic choir !
