We are searching for a school in or around New-York for our students who have created a musical and are eager to perform it in your school.
In return, we would love to host your students in our beautiful area if you are interested in building an exchange with us.

HAPPINESS IV – A MUSICAL IN BROADWAY
1) THE PROJECT’S GOALS
“HAPPINESS IV – A MUSICAL IN BROADWAY” is a project, in our school “LE CALLOUD” (based in the South – East part of France, nearby Chambéry, Lyon and Grenoble, and the French Alps) that :
– involves about 30 students aged between 13 and 15,
– aims at developing our students’ skills in many different artistic fields (story – musical writing, scenery, body languages, light and sound effects, props and accessories creation, ad posters and articles creation, entire show organization…) with the help of artists and throughout numerous workshops.
2) THE STUDENTS’ CREATION IN FRANCE
For about 2 years now,
– they’ve been preparing and creating their own musical entitled « MENTALO OU GRENADINE ? »
– in July 2017, they made their show which was a great success among young people and adults who came to see it.
3) THEIR MUSICAL IN BROADWAY
Now, we, their teachers and the students have the ultimate goal of :
– working on their musical in English
– showing it to an American audience in Broadway, New-York.
4) OUR TRIP TO BROADWAY – NEW-YORK / AUTUMN 2020.
The trip is meant, for our students, to :
– discover the whole world of what a musical is, on site, in Broadway – New-York
– show their own English musical « MENTALO OU GRENADINE ? » in Broadway to an American audience,
– visit the city of New-York : its 5 neighborhoods / Street Art / Ellis Island / Moma / UNO / Time Square / The Empire State Building
– set up an exchange between French and American families :
– live within an American family for a whole week and go to an Amercian school as well for about 1 or 2 days.
– be ready to host their new American friends at home in France.
