My name is Cheryl Ann Bolden educator/artist/curator based in Paris since 1998. My project ‘Museum Precious Cargo’African American History and Culture’ is an artistic educational traveling museum supported by the United States Cultural Attaché since 1991. My objective to present exhibitions using original archives in the classroom and to offer support to educators internationally. I have worked for Educational National
for 7 years.
I am connected with various educational communities in and around Paris and my atelier is available for teachers and students to visit.
From 1984 to 1991 Bolden Gallery African Art and Museum Precious Cargo existed in Charlottesville, Virginia U.S.A. Most of my slave related archives are from the local community.
