Hello colleagues !
My students and I are interested in establishing a partnership with a school in the USA. We are looking for an exchange that will hopefully lead to a partnership and an exchange trip with an american school
We’re a a school with approximately 400 students located outside of Paris (it’s a 30mn ride to reach Paris’ center). We are an international school with 4 international sections : American, Brazilian, Chinese and Arabic. Its aim is to offer the widest possible audience of students a linguistic and cultural immersion in the section language in order to encourage them, at the end of their secondary education to consider taking the international option of the Baccalaureate, to have a very good knowledge of this language, both written and oral, but also to have all the elements related to the country’s culture and literature.
Our school wants to keep the FAAX partnership with an american school for a long-term. We already have successfull partnerships with schools in China, Brazil and Tunisia.
I am teaching 4 grades and my highly motivated 9th grade students (3ème) are willing to find a virtual exchange with american students. I would love to create an exchange where each class communicates primarily in their first language so they can hear/ read the authentic language from their partners ! An ideal situation would lead then to school trips in our respective countries.
