I have been teaching English in René Gosse High School for 20 years, and I have always oragnized trips and exchanges with, mostly, European countries.
I believe it’s high time for us to open ourselves to the USA, that’s why I would be delighted if we could have a partnership with a school overseas.
René Gosse High School is situated in Clermont l’Hérault, in the south of France, 35 kilometers far from Montpellier and about 30 kilometers far from the Mediterranean Sea.
The major cities around are Montpellier, Marseille and Toulouse, but thanks to the TGV (High Speed train) you can reach Paris in a few hours.
The area is attractive beacuse it is quite rural, you can enjoy walking or cycling in the country around you, however, it is also really close to the heart of Montpellier which is a wonderful place to visit.
The students here are really open-minded and eager to get in touch with new friends and new cultures, which explains why we, at school, feel ready to exchange with American friends.
We are a highly connected high school, we can communicate through visio conferences, skype or any other way.
