looking for US English or history teachers for projects

I’m 45 and I live in Bordeaux, in the South west part of France.
I have been teaching English for the last 12 years.
For the second year in a row, I will be teaching English in a high school located 20 minutes by car from Bordeaux, rather in the country.
I’m looking for English or history teachers who would partner up with me…
The projects have to be done in English because the goal is for them to improve their English. 🙂

So this is what I had in mind but I’m open to any ideas:
I can have my high school students work on American or British literature (for instance, this year, we studied The Call of the Wild), on history (most of the time I have one unit on Black American history ) or on topics dealing with social skills or how to be a better citizen (e.g: working on a project related to ecology or on school bullying. For instance this past school year, I asked them to create anti-bullying campaigns but next school year, I would like them to create and then act out a short play to denounce bullying) …

With my 10th graders aged 15-16, the first unit I would like to work on with them next September is on clichés… They could pair them up and they could exchange their ideas…Or we could ask them to create games or quizzes on clichés and then videos or notes clarifying what is actually true from what is not…

My students would also be happy to know more about your school system too, so it could just be an exchange of videos presenting our school and school system for instance too…

I’m very much open to any ideas. It can be short, « simple » projects or longer, more complex ones…
